JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE WANTS TO RECORD A DUET WITH COLDPLAY

It would appear that Justin Timberlake is a fan of the British band Coldplay, fronted by Chris Martin - and is very interested in working with them.

Timberlake even compared the Speed of Sound rockers to legendary rock band The Beatles in a recent interview.  "I'd love to do a duet with Coldplay - especially Chris Martin. To me they are like a modern-day Beatles."

Justin and Chris could be introduced to one another by mutual friend Nelly Furtado. Justin recently teamed up with the Canadian singer on producer Timbaland's recent hit single Give It To Me, while Chris duetted with Nelly on a version of her track All Good Things, which he also co-wrote with her.

ORLANDO'S IN BLOOM BUILDING ECO-FRIENDLY HOUSE IN THE UK COUNTRYSIDE.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star has decided to construct his own green home because he can't afford to buy a property in London. 

The actor recently complained to the respected London newspaper The Daily Express: "I was trying to buy somewhere in London but couldn't afford it.  It is not the actors making money, it is the boys in the City."

The project has proven to be a lot more time consuming and expensive than Orlando had anticipated.  "I wanted to make a green house, a place that felt safe and comfortable and out of the way.” Bloom said.  "But building a house has been so stressful, it has taken double the budget - but I did make changes."

The 30-year-old, who is a committed environmentalist, recently traveled to the Antarctic for Global Green to study the effects of global warming.

Orlando explained: "I slept in a room the size of a bus shelter and shared a toilet and bathroom with 27 other dudes. It was the most surreal experience I have had in a long time."

It turns out right-turning a no-no for Posh Spice

Victoria Beckham was stopped by Los Angeles traffic police- CHIPS- and released with a warning for making an illegal right turn in her blacked-out Cadillac Escalade on Tuesday (22.05.07).

The former Spice Girl was STOPPED by two motorcycle cops outside a Beverly Hills shopping complex.  Mrs. Beckham then presented her British driving licence and insurance details to one officer, who then ran the appropriate checks.

The star was sent on her way without a ticket and with strict instructions to apply for a Californian driver's licence, after perhaps charming the officers?

Victoria then drove straight to the state's Department of Motor Vehicles where she registered her 4x4 car and began the application process to obtain a US licence.

The whole incident was captured on film by a camera crew following the star around for her NBC reality TV series.

Victoria, 33, her husband David and their three sons are set to move to Los Angeles in July, when the soccer ace's contract with Los Angeles Galaxy kicks off.

MICHAEL JACKSON TO GET 10 MILLION DOLLARS NOT TO SING AT MEGA ROYAL BIRTHDAY BASH...

Michael Jackson will be paid a staggering 1o million dollars for attending a Crown Prince's birthday party.  The Sultan of Brunei's son just wants the singer to be there and is paying out this huge sum to make his birthday wish come true.

The Thriller singer has been allegedly offered the money just to turn up at Brunei's Prince Azim's 25th birthday ball - and he does not even have to sing a single note.

A party-goer told the well informed Daily Mirror: "Absolutely no expense has been spared for his party - Michael Jackson is his all-time idol and he said he'd pay whatever it took to get him over.

"Even though Michael won't be performing, the very fact that he'll be in this stately home mingling with all of the Prince's pals makes it worth every penny to HRH Azim."

Michael, 48, flew to the UK from Los Angeles yesterday (22.05.07) ahead of the lavish two-day party this weekend.

Azim, whose father the Sultan of Brunei is one of the world's richest men, has invited a host of celebrities to join in the celebrations, including Pamela Anderson, Jerry Hall and Kate Moss.

The 200 VIP guests will leave the casino and ball-themed bash with designer goodie bags, bursting with iPods, diamond jewellery and luxury cosmetics.

We were told: "Azim wants his bash to be more glamorous than the Oscars."
